Couples Therapy

I work with couples in various stages of life and circumstances, including life transitions (marriage, birth, loss), infidelity, and difficulties around communication and intimacy.

I work to create a safe space by focusing not only on the couple's challenges, but also on their strengths. We work to build positivity and resiliency at the same time as tackling difficulties.

I utilize techniques from the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Imago Therapy. My hope is that couples can gain catharsis and insight while deepening the bond, improving communication, building trust, and repairing past relational injuries.

Fertility, Pregnancy, and Postpartum

I love supporting women and couples preparing for childbirth and parenthood. As a childbirth educator and parent, I understand the physical and mental changes that start even before conception and how overwhelming those changes can be. From trying to conceive through the postpartum adjustment, each stage has unique challenges.

I am a certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home educator, a structured program for assisting couples in the transition to parenthood to prevent the all-to-common decline in relationship satisfaction post-baby. I also have a certificate in postpartum mental health through Postpartum Support International.

Certified as a DreamBirth practitioner, I utilize guided imagery (if desired) with clients who are pregnant or trying to conceive.

I have experience working with couples facing infertility and the difficulties they face when the path to parenthood isn't so straightforward.

Adult ADHD Support

With advanced therapeutic training in approaches to ADHD, I often work with individuals and couples affected by this diagnosis. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to living well with ADHD. While people with ADHD have a lot of the same symptoms, everyone’s journey looks different. So, we’ll explore how your brain is wired and find the approaches that will work best for you.

I’m up to date on the latest research and take into consideration hormonal fluctuations and life transitions that can affect how symptoms present throughout our lifetime. We’ll explore what your diagnosis means to you, whether you were diagnosed as a child or later in life.

For couples, navigating neurological differences can cause strain on the relationship. I blend compassion, psychoeducation, and behavioral interventions to help you thrive.

My goal is to validate your experience, help you utilize your strengths, reduce feelings of overwhelm, and increase your confidence in approaching daily responsibilities.
